Pura Parahyangan Agung Jagatkarta

Indonesia country full of culture and mythology. One of the location legends have historical value of Prabu Siliwangi is Pura Parahyangan Agung Jagatkarta located at the foot of Mount Salak, Ciapus, district. Taman Sari, Kab. Bogor. The layout of the temple is quite far from the center of Bogor, just off the water attractions Curug Nangka.

Pura Parahyangan Agung Jagatkarta ( "alamdewatasucisempurna") or often referred to simply PuraJagatkarta is the temple of Hindu religion archipelago located in Bogor, West Java, Indonesia Once built, the temple Jagatkarta is the biggest temple in West Java and the 2nd largest in Indonesia after Besakih in Bali , is regarded as the funeral and the cult of Prabu Siliwangi and ancestors of pakuan pajajaran that once stood in the region of Parahyangan.

Pura Jagatkarta pioneered development In 1995 and is from the work of mutual cooperation Hindus Nusantara.Pura Jagatkarta has not officially been completed, but the main temple building as part of Pura Padmesana, the Order of the Great Hall and the Main Mandala has been completed.

The first time I was to this temple that last year, when I can be a task group of lecturers that filmmaking. Initially I did not believe there is a temple as good as it was in the city of Bogor but once I got to the temple I was surprised that the beautiful scenery around, even though the weather was hot there but remains cool because the temple is located at the foot of Mount Salak. To enter the temple, visitors are not being charged officially but there is a box where visitors can put the money to the temple guards. 

Before entering into the temple, visitors are required to wear a piece of yellow cloth, red, white, or black are tied around the waist and can be returned at the end of the visit. In the past, the temple is very open to the public until well into place of worship. However since two years ago, visitors can only see and take pictures in the court and next to the temple.
